Debris dumped in water body Over the past several days, a lot of construction rubble is being dumped continously through several trucks and tractors in the water/marshy body in Yelahanka.This is a large untouched natural waterbody that fills up by rain and stays wet for the rest of the year.This is in between the Yelahanka-Allalasandra Main Road and the railway track/airport road, next to the new RMZ Galleria residences/petrol bunk. Israel has offered to help Karnataka conserve water by reproducing its successful models here. Interacting with reporters here on Tuesday, Uri Schor, spokesman for the Israeli Water Authority, said that they had been successful in recycling 86% of the water, besides cutting domestic consumption by 18-20%. "We have used both technology and public campaign to achieve this," he said, referring to a seven-year severe drought in his country.
